Energy scoring is the flagship 2 player game for 2020 Armor. Fight like they do in the video games. Last man standing wins!

Drills Using Energy Scoring

DRILL: SPEED 101, POWER 101

  1. Speed 101
  1. Single Player
  2. Team/Club Setting
  1. Power
    1. Single Player
    2. Team/Club Setting

SET UP: 

  1. Minimum of 2 or more vests depending on 2 or more players 
  2. Turn on vests to game mode 1, choose desired level and time and press play. 
  3. Before the timer starts, the vests will flash blue or red. This is your player/team color for the match and corresponds to the health bars on the integrated scoreboards. 
  4. You will always be the player/team on the left side.

 

DRILL: (Min 2 players or 2 teams striking vest according to drill)

  1. SPEED 101: 
    1. Two students in front of Bob will each strike as many times until one vest depletes all health. (Strike to be determined by instructor)

 

  1. With two or more students, each will strike 2 times (once on each side -right and left) and run to the back of the line in order for the next student on the team to strike until one team depletes all health.   
  1. POWER 101: 
    1. Two students in front of Bob each will strike only once. Each will have an equal amount of strikes until one vest depletes all health. 

(Strike to be determined by instructor)

 

  1. With two or more students –2 teams will line up in front of 2 Vests. Each student will strike once until all health depletes 

 

LESSON 

  1. SPEED: This drill challenges students to kick faster as the more times you kick, more health depletes. 

 

  1. POWER: This drill challenges students to find ways to kick harder as the harder you kick, more health depletes. (work on certain techniques for hip, body and leg rotation to increase strength of strike)
